President-Elect Barack Obama has called on the entire nation to participate in a National Day of Service in conjunction with his inauguration.

Please sign up to participate in a Community Service Project in your neighborhood anytime during the Martin Luther King holiday weekend, Saturday January 17th through Monday January 19th, 2009.


You can collaborate with local organizations such as food banks, faith based communities, environmental groups and non-profits or create a service project entirely from scratch.
